OUR CURRENT FOCUS
MAR-DAV ORPHANAGE:
Three new babies have been received in our orphanage since May 2025. Our total now is 32 precious children. Each baby has his own sad story. Two of the mothers died giving birth and one mother died a few moths after the baby was born. Life is very difficult without resources for good health care, etc. There are no safety nets in Haiti.

The Earthquake of August 2021 devastated the Orphanage main building where the children slept. Afterwards, the boys were sleeping in tents, and then in a temporary shelter. As of May 2025, the boys dorm has been rebuilt and occupied! Thank you to the generosity of many donors!
​
Our Orphanage needs are ongoing. Food costs prohibit items such as peanut butter! The special powdered milk for the malnourished babies is $50 per baby and only lasts for a few days. Items in general are 3 times what they were last year.

OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP SCHOOL:

There is a need for a matching donation (up to $2,500) for establishing a sewing classroom for the 9th and 10th grades. This will include 10 new sewing machines. In Haiti, all schools have to wear uniforms. Students will have the opportunity to become a tailor/seamstress in future years. A sign of hope for a brighter future!
Last year we received a matching donation to establish a computer classroom. To date there are 10 computers and all the children in the 9th grade passed their national test which was completed for the first time on computers in June!
